German organist Hans Hielscher performs in Singapore
The third concert of the 2006/07 Pipe Works series features Hans Hielscher from Wiesbaden, Germany. Since 1962, Hielscher has appeared in more than 2,200 organ recitals worldwide, including 31 concert tours in 39 states throughout the United States. He is the Organist at The Marktkirche in Wiesbaden (where the famous organ composer Max Reger himself was organist for several years) and Municipal Organist at the Wiesbaden Kurhaus Concert Hall. He is also a recording artist for various labels, with 18 CDs to his credit, and has made various radio and television recordings in Germany, the United States and Australia.
